How we calculated this
We start with a simple premise: if your SEO score is below 85/100, your site has technical, content, or authority gaps that are suppressing your organic traffic. The distance between your current score and 85 represents the “score gap.”
We multiply your current monthly visitors by that gap to estimate the theoretical traffic ceiling, then apply a conservative 0.4x multiplier. This means we assume you'd capture only 40% of the theoretical improvement — accounting for competition, keyword difficulty, and the fact that not every fix translates directly to traffic.
From there, we multiply the additional traffic by your conversion rate to get new leads, and multiply leads by your average customer value to get revenue. The annual figure is simply the monthly number times twelve.
This is deliberately conservative. In practice, many businesses see larger gains because fixing SEO issues often has compounding effects: better crawlability leads to more indexed pages, which leads to more long-tail traffic, which leads to more backlinks, which leads to higher authority. The snowball effect is real.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this calculator?
This is a conservative estimate based on industry averages. We use a 0.4x multiplier on the traffic gap, meaning we assume you'd capture only 40% of the theoretical traffic improvement. Real results vary based on your industry, competition, and how quickly you implement fixes. The free audit gives you a real SEO score to plug in.
What does 'SEO score' mean?
Your SEO score is a composite grade from 0 to 100 based on nine categories: crawlability, technical health, on-page optimization, content quality, authority, AI citability, GEO, programmatic SEO opportunity, and local SEO. An average site scores around 45-55. Well-optimized sites score 75-90.
Why 85 as the target score?
85/100 represents a well-optimized site — not perfect, but genuinely strong across all nine categories. Going from 85 to 100 has diminishing returns. The biggest ROI comes from fixing the issues that drag you below 85.
What if my conversion rate is higher than 10%?
Some businesses, especially e-commerce or SaaS with free trials, convert at higher rates. You can type any value directly into the number input — the slider just provides a convenient range for most businesses.
